Well made Domino app as I have this on my iPad. graphics are nice as is the game play and you have CPU players. Thanks to the developer. You can not go wrong with any apps this developer puts out. AppZapp notified me of the price change.
When playing this game it makes moves and scores but does not show the dominoe the cpu is playing. Not sure if this is a problem with the macbook pro Retina.
Do not like that the computer can play without laying down a die. NOT GOOD until fix dont buy
Bought this today, played a few games, completely satisfied. Yes, the computer makes invisible plays, but that hasn’t stopped me from winning on this game or its beginner version. Just soothing to cruise along making choices, without any money riding on the game!
Entertaining game for the whole family.
This game is simple and looks good. But the computer you play against cheats constantly. That’s how the “difficulty” level is gamed. The higher the level of difficulty, the more the computer player cheats. I’d give it five stars if it had a straight computer player.
In my country Dominos is a game that is played by all the elders and alike. Actual championships and tournaments are held every year. This game is as realistic as it can get. I love the ability to play all three diffrent levels. Easy, Normal and Difficult. Great game worth every penny. Ooh I forgot, I also love the ability to view statistics and change the colors of the Dominos.
I bought this version of Dominos called Dominos Pro but cannot find it or play it, even if I paid for it. Save your money.
I bought it for the fix. WELL IT.S NOT FIXED B^ (
In fact, it has gotten worse. Dear Developers - PLEASE fix it for good this time.
I agree, the bug is still there. doesn’t show domino’s played by the computer all the time. Works to your advantage sometimes. Overall, hard ro play and get a true score. Still fun to play.
Not only is the move hidden, it scores exactly the same points as the player so it is VERY difficult to win. I feel like I wasted my money. Those considering this game should wait until there is user confirmation that the bug has indeed been fixed. ADDITIONAL. As of 6/22 The Bug is Fixed. Therefore I am changing my rating. Thanks
I’ve been playing a simplistic version of dominos for a very long time. This version allows four directions (instead of two) and has a quirky divisible-by-five bonus points rule that makes me think before I randomly select one of several possible plays. I like it.
great app and very addictive I play for hours
love it
I love this game, its closest to the way I grew up playing dominos. The only downfall is the manner in which you place your domino on the playing surface. I have lost plenty games because the game places a bone on a side of the board that I did not intend. This occurs mainly because I cannot click the bone and drag it far enough using the mousepad on the Mac Book. Any time I want to place a bone on the upper left or upper right side of the board, it’s too difficult. I have to try too hard, and sometimes use two hands (fingers from both hands) to drag the bone far enough to place it on the desired side. I often unintentionally release the bone prematruely causing it to play on a undesired side. I’m sure if I were to use an external mouse, this probably wouldn’t be an issue, but I should not have to do that to enjoy the game. The developers should change the manner in which a domino is placed, maybe by allowing you to click the desired domino, and subsequently click the side of the already laid dominos on the board to correctly place your domino on the intended side. The developers should also rebuild and add 3 & 4 players options. Maybe even devise a way to play two-on-two teams on-line using the Game Center.
This game is great. I like the level of difficulty option and that fact that you can play up to 250 score. Playing only to 150 as in the free version wasn’t long enough. The disappearing scores when the remaining bones are added up are a little hard to catch and it would be better if the actual amounts were added up instead of to the nearest 5, but maybe that is the usual way to score and I have been doing it differently. All things considered, I’m really enjoying the game and I’m glad I updated from the free version, which was too easy.
i’ve really enjoyed getting back into dominos. how about doing a digital “chicken feet” version. or mexican train?
love this game makes me think harder for when i play for real
